Thank you T-Lock (Tore Bergvill!)

hi guys,
I have a question waiting for Tore,
the number behind the remote control is equal to the number behind the t-lock?
I ask this, because when I press the remote control nothing happens,
I tried the connectors test as described, and the connections work.
Thanks all

For Christmas this year, I asked for a T-Lock and was lucky enough to receive one! I installed the unit in my 1991 C2 this afternoon. First off, I have to say that Tore's product looks nothing less than professional - just simply fantastic. I am seriously impressed by the components. The instructions from his website are clear and easy to follow. The install probably took me around an hour, but I work slowly. I was also scoping out for a future project as I want to install an amplifier for the stereo. I first connected the wires to simply allow the lock/unlock feature. I then tested with the remote and everything was working perfectly. I then tapped in the wires to enable the blinker function with lock/unlock and tested again. Once more, spot on everything just flat-out worked! I think this may be my favorite modification to date. It Is awesome to be able to remotely lock and unlock the doors with the indicator lamps flashing to confirm. It brought a big smile to my face. I tidied up the wiring and attached the unit to the top of the alarm control box using the supplied dual-sided 3M tape. It took me a few minutes to free up enough of the wires to tap in comfortably, but it is not hard to do. Just be patient and work slowly.
I had a self-inflicted problem to deal with along the way. When I removed my passenger seat, I forgot to first unplug the connector for the 4-way seat adjustment and the plug actually broke. A bit of loctite super glue and I had it back together. I was so excited to get the seat out I totally overlooked the plug!
I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone wishing to add remote lock/unlock to their car. It gives the old car a touch of modern convenience and is just absolutely slick in execution. When you unlock, it also turns on the interior dome lights, which is definitely nice as you approach the car in a dimly lit parking lot at night. I drive my car quite a bit, so this is an added feature I really like.
Tore - have your ever considered working out a remote trunk release, as well? I'd be in for that! The T-Lock is a fantastic product! I am very pleased!

This thread is super helpful! Just installed the t-lock in my 964. I didn't have the hex tool handy to remove the seats...so I just slid the passenger seat all the way forward and carefully accessed the wires. It was a bit tougher to maneuver in the cramped space, but the installation is so straight forward it was manageable. Works amazingly well and is a great upgrade!!

This thing is awesome. Got it all working.
but did notice something strange. Has anyone else seen this?
the black connector on the factory lock box has a wire cut and splice into another.

The cut wire is the immobilizer power supply output, it is now connected directly to ignition-switched 12V. This wire shall supply +12V to the engine control unit when the alarm is successfully disabled.
I guess this has probably been done to bypass a faulty internal relay in the alarm unit, or to avoid this safety feature altogether.
Cheers,
Tore

This is the 964 part of the forum though and none of them had the option to choose keyless entry, so it's nice to have that option.

Same here. And anytime I see someone putting the key into the door of their 964 to unlock the car I always tell them to stop screwing around with that and buy this. It's been on my car for years and still works flawlessly.
