Heater/mixing flap motor issue

Heater/mixing flap motor issue
Although my AC works, I have no heat when the temperature control is in heat setting. Have sent the CCU for repair. During diagnostics, a direct signal was sent to the electric motors for the mixing flaps....no activity. It appears both my motors are shot. Is this the case? Also, thought there was a thread about an alternative replacement motor available rather than the $558.00 each Porsche OEM replacement part. Did a search and no luck.
Any thoughts, advice or alternatives are appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help.

A scan with a Hammer pinpointed two issues with my HVAC that I wasn't even aware of. Had a bad floor/vent damper servo and a seized booster fan out back. I was able to confirm and repair both issues.

They are becoming expensive. You can also confirm your problem visually by pulling of the plastic valance inside the frunk, and observing the motors move (or not) based on a partner changing settings from within the car. Some have had limited success opening up the servos and cleaning them, but often they 'burn' on the contacts in critical places, making repair almost impossible.

Have a look at my HVAC DIY page, there's some pictures of the servos and how to determine faults.

I bought 2 from http://www.weekendrides.com/ a couple years ago, it seems like they were ~$125 a piece, if memory serves.

On this page, the link to the 964 servo motors page does not work. Is there an updated link for this? Thanks dude!

Yeah, I just got a fresh air servo for 100 at DC. The reostate strip was burned on the old one. Otherwise there is not too much to the inside of one. A really basic board some gears an the motor, which I am sure is good, just the board and the tips of the brushes are scorched.

Hey Tore;
If you're still out there, I note on your HVAC page that the servo units are the basically the same motors with different arms/attachments. Is it easy enough to interchange the arms/attachments between servos, or is this not possible?
