If you see anything - let me know. I've showed him the red one at Strasse but it's too Red for him and too track orientated. The immaculate Cobalt coupe C4 that sold recently would have been a contender...

He's in absolutely no rush atm - so that helps to find the perfect 964.
Don't hate me, but I'd keep the Cayman, especially if it's an S and more so if a R.

It's the best modern P-car by miles IMHO.

What he should do is add a 964 !

Blasphemy here but I reckon this wouldn't be a bad shout to replace a cayman.

If by new Cayman you mean the latest 981 version, I guess he's a new car kind of guy and therefore might not be able to trust an old car. No matter how immaculate it is. My buddy Tony is very much the same. He loves my 964 and always jumps in for a ride around the track. However, he'd never buy an old car even though his Porsches are always for weekend use. He likes the peace of mind of a nearly new car (being a good Yorkshireman he never buys brand new ).

BTW many of you will know Tony when he had the white 997GT3 that he bought to Donny. He's currently got a nearly new white Boxster S that he'll be joining us in on the trip to Spa.

You may be right... we're humouring each other. then again Tom was a Cayman owner and ended up in a 964. Having said that he did sell it for a MK1 GTI - he changes car every year or so!

He's been looking at 60s/ 70s 911s but I think that's stretch too far for him.

Boxsey - are you referring to Purds? (Tony). Nice guy. He took me round donny in the 997 gt3. Quite astounding what they can do as standard kit. I felt a tad ill after my ride though haha. Did he really go from the gt3 to a boxster? .........

Yes you've got it right. Purds had two boxsters and a 997C2S before the GT3. The GT3 was a box he wanted to tick off and is now back to a Boxster S. With several years amateur rally driving experience he knows how to pedal, so don't be surprised when he overtakes us at Spa.

EDIT - forgot to say its a C4 manual coupe

A neighbour ( Cheshire) is looking to sell his car , its not advertised , its a bit of a reluctant sale as he's had it for last 13 years.
Guards red , 1990 first registered , 91000 miles , very nice condition with black seats , red piping , red carpet.

PM me in first instance for more info.

Must be negotiable , it is a C4 ( have now edited original post ) so not destined to become a track day project , its been a P&J so he's not going to be happy to give it away
