Burning Brakes
I wouldn't touch this with a barge pole as water and electrics don't mix
I bet if they added a picture of the car submerged the auction would be at zero!
I thought Cat B's couldn't be put back on the road?
According to RAC, Category B: body shell should be crushed. Signifies extensive damage, although some parts are salvageable. Should never re-appear on road, although reclaimed parts can be used in other road-going vehicles.
I'm confused

Three Wheelin'
My concern would be internal rust within any of the closed/partially closed body structure. Very easy for water to become trapped in some sections. If you're looking for a trackcar that you intend to e-dip then its a bargain!

Checked the ad again and it does say not for UK roads, track or export only

Never mind the 'submarine' model above. How about this 80k miles 3.3 Turbo (3.6 lookalike) in Polar Silver at JZM for £80k

Frank, this has your name all over it

Hi Meek, (Andy)
I am the chap that bought your car. (I joined the UK911 forum and someone mentioned it looked like Andy's old car). They sent me a thread link, and so I have also joined rennlist !.
Its my first Porsche and I am slowly learning.
I am desperate to find out more about it, if you wouldn't mind sharing ?
I fell completely for design/mod "theme" you were aiming for and had to buy it. (A completely emotional purchase, with my wife and children's support !)
I use it 3 days a week (fri to sun) and use an old diesel focus the rest of the time as this is more appealing to me than spending 35k on a new car !
The car is now at 127k , running very well with 4% compression loss. New sunroof seal / oil return pipe / aircon upgrade for new gas / replacement speakers (with damaging the interior or cutting holes or changing the oem speaker grills) / full paint correction detail (removed swirls)
Happy to keep you updated ? I can see from the extensive service history the money, care and energy you have put into it.
