Stunning.
'The “story” is simple some 7 years ago the car was involved in an accident which resulted in an Insurance Total Loss Payout, this was due to the fact that at that time obviously the car was not worth nearly as much as it is today & the required repairs being done by a Porsche Bodyshop made it more economic for the owner to be paid out & the salvage sold to a repairer.
We have photo’s of the car being repaired & have inspected the car ourselves & can confirm that any repairs carried out have been to a very high standard & to look at the car there are no signs of it having had damage or indeed having been repaired. In fact the car looks quite simply stunning!
I have also spoken to the dealer who supplied it to the last owner & the Porsche Specialist who looked after it for the previous owner, both confirm that it was “ a really good car”
Cat C/D puts most people off but thinking about it is it any worse than say a rusty 964 that's ended up with new wings, welding and then a respray etc.

Zingari - i think you are right. Its probably a bloody nice car. I just think it needs to be priced correctly to sell. As a 3.3ltr.....i think it needs to be 23-26k for it to shift. Its a bit like the high mileage fascination over here. People wont touch cars with 100k miles on principle no matter what work has recently been done or the condition of the car which is daft as hell.

Very daft, but it seems to affect cars' values no matter how old the car. It also appears to make many 964 mileages go backwards or stand still. Keep seeing 964s being offered for sale at lower mileages or same mileages as when I saw them 5 years previously. Maybe people only drive them in reverse, Ferris Bueller style

Cheap Tip 2, could go for £9K but looks like it might need an engine rebuild..

Gents I have a friend with a Cayman. I'm slowly convincing him to go for a 964.
Thing is he's one of those people for which cars just have to work and be perfect. lol. To that effect, I'd like to find him an immaculate 964 coupe manual. It really has to be flawless in order to convince him not to buy the new Cayman.
If you see anything - let me know. I've showed him the red one at Strasse but it's too Red for him and too track orientated. The immaculate Cobalt coupe C4 that sold recently would have been a contender...
He's in absolutely no rush atm - so that helps to find the perfect 964.
