I used to hate D90s but have kind grown a fondness for them.
I didn't like the Cup wheels either, but they just sorta belong on the car so I got Cups on the car and D90s in the garage. I have looked at a million wheels and really haven't found anythig I liked better.

A friend has the lobster wheels on his 06 987 and paid extra for them. I thought they looked kind of sharp on the car.
Then again, i have two sets of D90s (but also a set of 18" twists for redemption).

Are Lobster Claws the D90's of the 21st century?
D90's however...I know Porsche was going for the "modern-aerodynamic" image when they replaced the Fuchs. The overall effect of the wheels, with the 964's smooth nose and sils just doesn't look aggressive enough. Cup1s made a big difference on the 964.
My buddies track wheels...

Lobsters were a plus when I bought my '05 997. 19" vs 18" and I think they look better than the stock 18" wheels - to much open area IMO.
Bearclaw - very nice Targa ! How many miles ?
