I drive a 15 year old air-cooled Porsche as my daily driver. Personally, I don't feel the need to make any more statement than that

I've always liked "MY WMD" but I don't think the Vehicle licensing center will give me the thumbs up for that....

1GALLON ..approved finally....yay 1 gallon is gonna be my plate (for those that miss the point 1 gallon is 3.8 liters)

what do you think? also what other personal plates do others have?
Personally i like your idea, but feel a private plate should be something that is easily understood and doesn't need explaining. Otherwise it misses the point i believe if you need to explain it to everyone that asks. Having said that i don't like private plates on any car and would never have one.

Each to his own...

Here in Queensland, Australia, you can have pretty much what you want, as long as no-one else has it and it's not obscene. Mine: OUR964, which other PCQ members thought was quite generous and inclusive, seeing that my wife won't drive the 964...

Laker picked up a plate for me in County Corcaigh (Cork) Ireland: "89-C4-964" (Thanks again!) Found out it's against the law to display it in Texas, so it sits on the mantel.

Texas has a great on-line system for ordering custom and personalized plates. You can choose the background from a ton of scenes, school and pro sports teams logos, graphics, personal interest groups, etc.

Then you can select the numbers and letters, within guidelines, and see if they're available. Then you get the price and choke on it. In the range of a couple of hundred per year, and you own it even if you sell the car.

Quick Reply: personalized plate
