Wow!!
Very nice work, the car looks phenomenal! Enjoy it and take care of her, shes a beauty. Let me know if you ever need anything in terms of exhaust or other performance upgrades for it. I might be able to help you resolve that drone if your not happy with it.
Thanks,

Hey Ben,
I think I saw in another post that the car is back in the shop for more work? is this true... and if so what else is being done?
I remember sitting in the bar at Brooklands and revving her up.. for a while it kind of spoilt the way my own car felt. I was pretty happy till then with my RS flywheel and though my engine was prestty responsive but after yours it just felt so sluggish in response.. luckily the memory is now fading and i am enjoying mine again...

Thanks again for compliments.
Jack, just getting back on RL after a winter break - nope, no new work being done on the car since getting the dents knocked out of the frunk (thankfully...). The seats aren't Recaro PPs, they are recliner sport seats, I don't know what make or model but I'm pretty sure they are by Bride - they were recovered as a part of the original conversion (which I didn't do)...

I love the look of the chrome window trim too! Looks amazing. I wonder if the OE window trim from older 911s will fit 964 windows. That way, a person who wanted this look could order straight from Pelican and just switch them out. Anyone know if they will fit? It would probably be nice to replace the window trim rather than get the old ones anodized like cuse92 did.

Hi Mike -
It was a company called AP Designs in Germany
http://www.ap-car-design.de/
They look great and are very bright, but to be honest they cost a bomb (I think they were over $1500 iirc) and the bulbs and ballasts and some of the other internals they provided were crap, so had to be replaced immediately.

There is another thread about HID head lights. I think Jetta did some testing on a system by D-zug.com $695.00. There are also comments by others that have since bought them and read back has been good.
I'm considering them too!
