Thanks everyone for the positive feedback on the car, it is very gratifying (and I'll get to work on getting the stickers in the engine compartment corrected!). I took it out yesterday morning for a three-hour workout in West Sussex and again it was great. I love the immediacy of the torque and the way the engine revs with the SMF... Night and day from what the car used to be like, and its enjoyable even obeying the posted speed limits. The only issue is the hunting idle, which is a bit annoying in London traffic but will hopefully be fettled my next trip to PS in a few weeks.
Frank, unfortunately Spa/'Ring is out because the new engine is still bedding in (and I have a business trip to South Africa), but I'll look forward to hearing everyone's stories at the next London 964 owner's meet... Really looking forward to seeing everything you've done to your car it looks the business ...

Gorgeous!!!
Love the chroming out of the window trim...I looked through the thread to see who or how this was done but only saw mention that the previous owner may have done this? Then I saw that they were anodized?
So are they chromed or something else?

Thanks for the compliment. The window trims look chromed to me but I'm not sure if that look can come from the anodising process or whether they are anodised and then chromed. Sorry I'm not more help, that was done by previous owner and I'm not up on how this is done. I'm speaking with PS soon and will ask them for a more informative answer!
