No, they are not all the same.

And unless you know what is in the res, the best thing is to do a flush and fill, which it probably needs anyway.

You might want to check your pads while you are at it. If there is not a leak that is where the fluid goes. As the pads wear, the pistons push out further and the space is taken up by the fluid. i.e. low fluid level.

ATE Blue is a great replacement. While you are at it, get yourself a Motive Power Bleeder to save time (and your brake master).

Don't forget to bleed the clutch as well ...

And clamp the overflow off the reservoir during use of power bleeder ...

Online from any number of vendors. I suggest a Rennlist sponsor.

Looking to buy it in Canada if possible. And locally would be even better. After all, we near the largest city in Canada. Surely there must be someone selling it locally? It's often a pain to get products sent accross the border. There are shipping fees, border crossing customs brokerage fees, duties and taxes are all added. And I don't know if sending certain liquids are restricted?

Worse comes to worse, you can check Amazon.com, sometimes they have package deals. I'd get two containers of it while you are at it. Just in case you need extra, and for top offs in the future.

Also, while you are shopping around, a magnetic catch bottle is nice to have.

That AWD system warning light coming on... in a C2?!
[very confused]

Here's a pictorial on checking that C2's transmission fluid, just in case.

Thanks CRG. That was me asking in the Canadian RennList forum. Thought of it only after I posted here.

I'm back to my original diff response, especially a C4. Now you should check both as this is a clear sign (to me) of an overheating issue which could either be your diff fluid, incorrect tire size ratio front to rear, etc...

This thread makes a lot more sense now, but, unfortunately, not because I have a solution for you.

Thanks Elbeee for the link showing how to check and change the transmission fluid. Anyone have something showing how to check and change the front differential fluid? Or is it something more complicated?
Aircooled - I have the stock 16 inch rims and standard tires so no mismatch there.
Thanks everyone for your help so far.
