The car looks nice, but those wheels are downright bizarre. Are the centers taken from a set of 14 inch BBS wheels and surrounded with 18 inch hoops? Why wouldn't you start with the correct size centers?

Personal taste. I wouldn't do it on my car, but I can appreciate the look as much as any other non performance oriented wheel setup. That car looks really good j_m.

16 inch center with 18 upsized slant lips. Like it or not, there's a lot of people who love this look. Hard not to like bbs rs. I had a set made with stepped lips a few years ago, but the builder messed them up royally.

I really like the look of them. they were originally 16in wheels But I had them built to 18in by vr wheels.

Just my preference.

Looking good j_mendieta! From my understanding, that car has an air bag system. Should drive free and clear if so.

Absolutely amazing!

I was wondering too, rear ones look like 964 turbo flares and the fronts like RSR's but then again they could be just Turbos because the front spoiler is so different from original 964 turbo.

Sorry guys, it's a bit more complexity to do such a thing...

This 911 required extensive body work to arrive at it’s present shape. DP Motorsport Germany
welded all mirror and sill cover holes, adjusted the tail fin, the spare wheel tub and front panel.
The roof, doors and rear lid are still original steel parts. For all other parts spezial moulds
were fabricated to reproduce original RSR/ST shapes and the long hood.
The hood, fenders, wings and bumpers were drawn up in carbon/kevlar.

Headlights feature new Porsche European lenses and H4 lights.

Instead of mounting a ducktail the retractable rear spoiler got redesigned
to integrate the grill from the early 911 and support the desired ST-flyline.

The PPG 2-stage Sandbeige is similar to the factory color code 6807 from 1968 and was applied
over a white basecoat.. Trunk space sprayed in sandbeige, engine compartment, interior body
panels and underside sprayed black matt as it was in the good old days of the early 911.

All of the rubber gaskets and seals have been replaced, and all exterior trim is either chrom plated,
polished aluminium, or polished steel. Outside mirrors are genuine Talbot Berlin. Side-Decals are
light ivory and the original Porsche lettering in gold of the early 911S on the engine lid.
Original 15“ forged Fuchs wheels measure 9“ at the front and 11“ wide at the rear and are fitted
with Pirelli P7 Corsa Classic. Michelin TB5 R is an option.
15“ Fuchs was one MUST on our design-list for RSVT#5. The other design principles were:
Rounded shapes of ST/RSR, NO sill cover to hide any oil/AC- lines, NO ducktail!
All to create the Look of the late 60s of these cars in Racing.
The offset of the wheels is customized to compensate for the wider axles a 964 has
compared to an early 911, but also to allow using bigger breaks from the 964RS.
Interior modifications include early-style lollipop race seats, 4p willans safety belts,
contemporary rollbar, deep Momo steering wheel, dashboard, door panels, knee pads, ashtray,
armrests and sidewall covers, A and B pillars and hand break cover,
ALL wrapped in black leather, seat inserts and door panels perforated.

Black vinyl headliner and hair yarn boucle carpet also custom made by upholsterer.
Center console have been deleted and switches, cabling converted into dash.
GT2-shifter from the 993 is installed with an open switching backdrop
Chrome mirror original from the early 911.

Original 964 gauges redesigned and converted to match the style of the early 911.
Glove box, radio, HVAC controls and air nozzles have been redesigned and integrated in
a custom made aluminium trim. Switches for cig lighter and fog lights deleted.

Retrosound 2 radio installed with Becker Mexico style trim and *****,
paired with 4 high performance speaker in doors / rear shelf.
USB plug integrated in ashtray allows charging phone, bluetooth hands-free operation.
Odometer has been reset, but we have documentation of the previous 72k mileage .

Despite of having a recent fully overhauled 3.6 L engine when we acquired the car,
we opted to build a brand new 3.8 L engine from scratch.
Engine bay should look totally stock including additional heating and AC compressor.

Schaertl Racing rebuild the motor and the car now produces 340+ rear wheel horsepower
at 6,600 rpm as confirmed by the included dyno sheet.
Final wheight is said to be 2450 pounds.

The engine and chassis build includes the following:
