mmm951 - I love what you have done ! Are your wheels bbs rs gt ? If so, are you aware of the offsets of your wheels ? I do have a set ( not on yet) and am wondering if spacers might be needed. Thank you.

We actually investigate CARB approval for one chap in california who is seriously interested and wants to import the car to the US.

Importing the car into UK should be easy and the strong pound sterling could be an advantage for you....

BR Detlef

Car got sold! Not to the US, #05 goes to Austria this time.

So much beauty in all of your posts. Does anyone feel any "resistance" from your local Indy P Car shop about "slammed" 964's w/ aftermarket wheels ? I love my local shop and I cannot do such things myself but I feel he doesn't want to help me with lowering the car or 18" wheels that are aftermarket. Only slightly lower than stock ride height and Cup I's at most. Maybe it is just me.

Some of those shots are poster worthy.

How low? are you talking below RS if so do a search there is a ton of info regarding bump steer and 18's on 964's etc. Looks are subjective. These cars are old technology and have limits that some consider unsafe to go beyond without expensive modifications. Then there are diminishing gains with sacrifices.

You'll want to get a second opinion, but yes by my knowledge they should fit very well. Not to mention look great on Guards Red!

+1 These will fit. Fronts will be perfect but you may want to run a 10mm spacer on the rear to get to 47 ET. The sweet spot for a 964.

8,5 is maxing it out in the front and may rub at extreme steering angles, depending on tires, ride height and alignment.
10 inch rears will likely rub on the inside with that ET. Watch the oil line on the right side. A 10-12 mm spacer will probably take care of that. Again depending on tire choice and alignment.
My rubbed on the inside with 265s on 18x9,5 ET 47.

Much appreciated insight (TJ) (Rey) and (BjornH). I came to a similar conclusion..may need to flatten oil line, run spacers in rear of course. I am shy about rolling the fenders was hoping to steer clear of that. Was thinking a 7-8mm spacer would be good for the rears but you guys suggest getting closer to 47 huh? Any good rennlist reference/resource for getting those spacers made up?
