18's are not going to happen. I am pretty content to keep it the same way as it came from Strosek way back in 1990.

Here is the original invoice for the wheels as well as other mods from 1990.

DM40,000 plus the original cost of the 964. Crazy!

Your car is very nice BTW. Are your Speedlines 18's?

Ahhh, then yes I agree. Keep it as is. Period correct carries a lot of weight in my eyes.

18's are RH36's, not Speedlines. I wish. By the time I figured out how nice it would be with original Speedlines, they were $10 grand. ... wait,... since they became available again, they've always been close to that price point! Ha!! So I guess I was never in the market. The 3.3's didn't come with em,... so I see no need to spend that kinda cash when the car doesn't really deserve em. If it was a 3.6, I'd go for it.

I do like that Strosek look on yours. Some seem over the top, but yours has a very nice 964TurboS2 kinda look to it.

Enjoy!

Thanks. Yes the normal Strosek build is kinda wild with the small headlights and all.

Getting off topic here but the only over the top thing in my car is the extremely large wing. Probably the only thing I don't really like.

I think the wing looks great, definitely allowed when you've got hips like that!

+2 ... I agree & think the wing looks great on this build. The rear Qrtr transition into the rear bumper reminds me of a 993, hence the reason I think the rear wing works well back there.

Even the front fenders remind me of 993. So it's a 964 wide body with a smoothed out 993 flare. I'm a fan (& I'm usually a tough critic to please given I am a originality nutt).
Of course I've always wanted to own a 933, but could never find the right time to afford it {w/ kids college tuitions, etc}

re: taking the thread off-topic? .... not really in my mind,... since it's every persons perception of the entire cars package that allows for, or doesn't, lend itself to a good ride height decision. Well done C964.

Keep the pics coming! it keeps the conversation alive!
