looking for RS door panel install instructions
I bought used appbiz kit and would like to know how to install the door pulls before I tackle this mod. Thank you.

There should be some special colapsable bolts for the screws that the door pull mounts on. You have to drill two holes and then mount the colapsable bolts with a special tool that holds then still. Once they are in - they form a secure mount for the screws for the door pulls.

The pullstraps are mounted to the same place where the original door opener is mounted. All pretty strait forward when you open the door. All this is described on the paper you get with the kit.

I have the door card kit from Appbiz, if I was doing it again I would spend the extra money and have one made up by Southbound Trimmers, the cost differential is substantial but so is the difference in quality. For example, the quality of the door pull straps supplied by Appbiz is poor, I have replaced mine with genuine Porsche RS items.

Yeah. Pullstraps have a hole and a bolt goes through that as well as the hole that is used for the oem latch. Cant remember who but someone told me to dip the end of the straps in glue or something. They will eventually break.
The material used on the straps from porsche are a lot softer.
I got my kit from appbiz throught pelican. I got the kit and cut then out. Search for my post on 993 forum.

I also think the appbiz kit is more than good enough, but I also replaced the straps with OEM items. But the overall "value for money" is with that extra cost still not beaten by any one else.
