I am replacing the above seals but I am unsure how to pull the old ones out.
I pulled the loose end but it was stiff and brittle hence broke.
Are there any tricks to pulling out the old piece without scratching the paint?
Replacement part is ... 911.799.503.07

Great link, I was trying to take off my fenders to install euro side markers and could not figure out why they would not come off. Who would ever think the fenders would be welded on?
