Default On second thought... a sweet deal...

So I had to drive up to Seattle area from Portland... 3 hours each way - for a meeting with Microsoft...

About half way back, it occurred to me that I am getting paid my consulting rate to drive my 964...

Nice work if you can get it.

Even better if you got off the highway and did some "brain storming" while doing some spirited driving!

Related...turns out my car was purchased new as a "company car". The big boys really know how to work it! Not quite sure of the original owner's job, but I found a rather interesting business card under the passenger seat...the card was from Tyco Submarine Systems Ltd.

Sweet, a submarine salesman rode in my car! You don't hear that everyday!

Pretty cool job if you can get it.

I was able to visit Claudia and meet with Jeff at Rothsport (Steve was out) paid for by a client due to a conference in OR.

BAAWAAA!

We adhere to the "don't ask, don't tell" policy 'round these parts, don't we?

I actually paying the guys to do a lot of stuff I could do, but...the car is there anyway, I'm stupid with money, currently way deep in a massive renovation/reconstruction of my house, swamped anyway and...

planning on enjoying a turn-key super deal when its all over! Pics and a show and tell should come within six weeks or so.

...sometimes I actually go out into the garage and sit in my 964 while participating in meetings. I think it's pretty sweet.
