New Gauge Face for my RSA
Finally completed the installation of custom gauge faces on my RSA. I had been searching for +5 years to have a set of new faces with GREEN on BLACK (ie: retro). I actually found a custom house in my own "back yard".
The artwork was easy, all the fonts, icons, etc... are the same as original Porsche factory. The only difference is GREEN on BLACK.
Also installed new LED lights/lamps. The only white is "cool white" versus the original incandensent "yellowish white". The jury is still out on this.
Nonetheless, the new faces a VERY COOL, see pics below...

I had the art and gauges done by BlackCat Custom. So the art is done for 964. Pick your colors and get printed. Not really all that much money. FYI, as I mentioned previously, I did find green on blacks faces at RUF, they quoted $3200 (goofy)

Sweet, I have a set of white faced gauges out of turbo and I'm not sure if they will work for my motif.
Hopefully the clock doesn't get pissed off, because if does it will be a world of hurt!

Thanks for the input. However to the contrary, the tach is positioned at 5750 rpm @ 12 O'clock for better driving concentration, the speedo is turned because you cannot see +100mph throught the steering wheel. 2 Porsche design "stumbles" resolved to an otherwise great 911 RSA.

No set plans yet. But something in the summer for sure. Will let you know and give you ample notice. Stay tuned. Fingers crossed, I'd like to have a lift of some description for the next one.
