Default Brake adapters?

Iam in the process of fitting 993 fronts to my car, i know i need 928s4 discs and adaptors, problem is the adapters.
Sourcing them in the UK is the problem.
Porschshop said they dont sell them, even thou they sell the full conversion kit (and in there pic you can see the adapters).
9m dont sell em anymore, design911 allso said no.
Promax said they only sell the adapters for a 968 conversion, i dont think they will work?
On the FVD website they only list adaptors to fit 993 turbo calipers, are they the same as 993c2/4 caliper adapters? Will they fit? And there allmost 200euro!
Any ideas of a supplier?

Racer's Edge in the US has them. Not sure what would be involved for shipping to UK.

Good Luck!

Ive found a set in the UK but there for fitting 993 calipers to a 968/944, at Promax.
On the Fvd website they list the 964/968 adapter as the same part!
So am i right in thinking that the cheaper Promax adapters will work?

Also try 9M - I got a set for mounting 993TT calipers on a 964 from them.

993 and 993RS/tt caliper adapters will be the same. The difference is in the rotors. 993 calipers want 304x32 and 993RS/tt want 322x32mm rotors

On the rennline site they allso list them as fitting 968/944, so they must be the same?
Has anyone got the dimesions of an adapter?
Then i can check them against the UK suppliers adapter, the Uk supplier £120, US $150/200 +post, Fvd 300 euro.
Racers edge list them as the same as well!

Russ,

Give Warren at Porsch-Apart a ring (tell him I sent you his way) and get him to ask "The Doctor" what to do. Trust me it seems strange but "The Doctor" will know. Ask Nski about him and you will get nothing but praise after his engine rebuild.
