Recommendation for Rebuilding Power Steering Rack Zims?
I'm converting my RS America to Power Steering this winter. I've been offered an NOS 993 Power Steering Rack at a great price. I need a recommendation for a high quality shop that can test it and replace the seals since it's been sitting for 15 years and this is being installed on a race car. Has anybody had an experience with Zim's, they offer a rebuild service for $399.

I haven't used Zims but I purchased a rebuilt one from Vertex Auto and have been happy with it. That was about 2 years ago. The cost was $500 versus $1,200 from other sources.

I talked to Zims. They won't negotiate the price. I just need the seals replacing and a pressure test since it's NOS. They want the full remanufacturing cost of $399 regardless of what they do.
