Just got home from the launch at East London

991 is much nicer in the flesh, there were 3 cars but all were Carrera S PDK for some reason

Hospitality was good as is usual but booking the test drve ended up being a chore so I will call them in the morning to arrange

£20.00 voucher was useful though

There was a lovely guards red C2 in the line up, but I was most impressed with the Cayman R

Wasnt sure I would even be able to get in it but it was possibly the most comfortable car Ive ever sat in, seats to die for

I also took the Cayman up to leake street london and snapped these and thought it would make a great venue to shoot the 964's en masse!!
Great shots, both cars look great!

Cheers guys - it was a good evening, and a privilege to have my car there.

I installed my London 964 sticker yesterday - looks very smart, so thanks!!
See you guys at the next meet (yes Norm it was cold!) I have a couple photos from the december meet, i'll upload them over the next day or so.

Hi Alex, no it's very much under wraps at the moment, previous features were in PVW magazine and Ultimate VW's (a collectors book of PVWs best feature cars), but as far as the web goes, the latest build is very hush hush.

I have however uploaded my snaps from the last meet:

Nice shots Matt. I particularly like the angled shot of my car and the fat kid stuck up a tree in the shot of Frank's

I just had a thought, next year for one of the meets we should go Go Karting?

It's cheap, a lot cheaper than track days and should be a laugh!

Thoughts?

In the states, we'd be standing in the middle of the road, pints in hand, checking out what's under each bonnet.... just sayin'

In England, we drive our cars to find out what's under each bonnet.
