Great turnout by the looks of things. Some sweet looking cars there.

Will keep an eye out for the next London meet. Any dates set?

Frank, I can't take the credit for those photographs, they were Tony's... Great though aren't they.

Sadly, I won't be able to make the next one as it is the morning after my stag do - I'm guessing that I won't be in any fit state to take my beloved Porker out on the road... Probably won't be in any fit state for anything, come to think of it!

PS. It's not the orange 928 from the other thread - but still not bad!

Got an offer of a 24 hour test drive from my local OPC, turned it into 48 by collecting on saturday lunchtime

Done over 550 miles today alone, I'll post a picture of what it looks like now compared to when I picked it up yesterday in the morning.

Its pretty spectacular. Feels like its made from granite, everything works so well and is so solid

Interior is lovely and seats are the best I've ever sat in

Very quick, though its pretty easy to unstick the rear and my 964 feels more planted, though maybe thats because its my car and I know it well. a few weeks with teh Cayman and it would grow even more.

All in all, a most enjoyble couple of days

Result, good work there Gary

I'll have to pay my OPC a visit and see if I can persuade them to let me 'ave a go!

I can't make that Frank as I'm away. Will the next be a month after? Only ask as it's the Volksworld show (24/25 March) at Sandown, and I'll be there with my other air cooled rear engined German car. Anyone else on here doing the same?

Sounds great! Very envious - 550 miles in a day! Ha you might have to buy it now!

We tend to not over lap on other events... it's usually roughly at the end of each month, so we won't over lap the Volks show! Damn I really want to se your 64 the pics look amazing! How are the new wheels? I used to have an '57 Oval window window in Polar Silver - I loved that car!
