Mine had the headlightwashers and just the big bottle. The small one is only for "intensive cleaning fluid" which is stronger than standard fluid. You use the small button on the dashboard next to the clock to start the pump.

Yes Kevin,Thomas & Ray think I may do away the big bottle, as the headlight washer has been deleted!

Thomas, you say your C2 weighs 1200kg, how much does it weigh with you in it?;-)

Great news! From the helpfulness here on Rennlist, Silvers Racing Performance Suspension has sponsored me to use their suspension on 'project Amazon'. Fully adjustable (height & damping) with adjustable pillowball camber plate.

There track record shows in their racing in Cup Asia in Japan and Taiwan. The background behind these guys was mainly Japanese car racing. Spoke with the boss of Silvers - very helpful and a dedicated Porsche enthusiast.

Thinking about my other cars and especially you guys, I asked if 'us' guys can get a special rate-discount for these kits whether it be this kit or racing gas canister type. He said he will honour it to me. PM me if you want more info as he sent me loads of info and brochure.

Heres some more pics. Thanks Silver!

It will be interesting to test on road & part time trackday to see how these perform in comparison with the KW V3s and the Clubsports used on my previous cars. The spec and quality is there, the rebound adjustable may not be like the latest KW or Bilstein kits, but look a great kit so far.

Looking at the special price Silvers have sent me, it is very good for UK, give me a shout!

Higher or lower than the £690.00 offered on here a couple of months ago?

Currently on Pistonheads at £895.00, but they only make them for late model cars at present, though I'm told 89-90 will be coming soon

Must admiot they do look nice, but youve got them in front of you so have a lot more idea that most of us will from the pics

Looks like a well thought out bit of kit, and the machining on them looks good from the pics..... I hope that these turn out to be a good product as its about time we had a new kid on the block for good suspension at a very reasonable price!!...looking forward to hearing your thoughts on these when set up nski...

Default silvers

Hi,

Just giving a shout up on the silvers, I have also bought a set and I am very pleased with them.
My targa is having them on but only for the purpose of going low, but I am a lot further away from fitting them than Norm.
I will post early next year a photo heavy thread of my light restoration of my targa when its totally finished with all the bits and bobs fitted.
Norm your car is looking good and my Targa is totally in bits now and all my fears of finding problems under the previous poor body repairs is over and No problems under the Targa glass which was a big fear for me.
Moz is getting the paint on next week and Ian has done wonders with his panel skills but I'll get it all on here when its a complete car.

These have been to a Porsche Specialist near me and they find its a really great kit especially for the price.

Silvers say the coilovers for the early 964 models can be produced until there is enough interest out there for them. So get yourselves together, am sure a group buy can get you a better discount rate too!

Thanks Ray, I believe the Japanese & Japanese car lovers think Silvers products are great in comparison with Tein products.

Should see the Brakes set up! Japan companies such as Top Secret, etc use the products.

And a vast amount of suspension for all models!

Porsche Cayenne.
