Is my interior factory standard?
I have a 90 C2 cab with a full leather interior. The leather is white with suede inserts on the IP and the door panels. I am just curious if this an aftermarket interior as I have never seem same color in the any of the 964 pics here. Will appreciate if you can help on this as I will need the color code if this is factory spec.. below some pics..
cheers..

The leather on the fornt part if the upper tunnel and teh door pockets, without leather on the door handles and pocket lids seems not original. Same for the brake lever recess. Under lid sticker present?
The seat stitching pattern is also not very 964 like.

unfortunately not. the car was imported from Japan, so I assume it was for the Japanese market when sold new. I also think the black leather on the gear lever, handbrake lever and doors are aftermarket, because the texture of these parts are not same with the rest of the parts. here is the pic of the back seats (this is why I need the color code if this is factory spec). I will get more detailed pics this week.. thanks for the help..

the 964 editions in japan are virtually all RHD euro versions and there was no"special" modifications done for that market....here are some examples of "japanese" 964's (click on any of the photos to enlarge).
i think your interior is substantially "aftermarket".....dash visors etc

http://www.carsensor.net/usedcar/det...561/index.html
this white interior'd cab i think is stock:

this is best example i can find with clear detail of rear seating

as george mentioned stitching does not appear stock, so may be
no "factory" colormatch.

virtually all cars coming out of japan are remarkably well maintained because of the shak-ken system (gov't enforced/regulated requirement for regular inspection forced maintenance) also most cars from nippon have very low mileage (about 2500km per yr. average)
in my (strong) personal opinion if the above pertains to your car, you might want to begin "correcting" this aftermarket interior in your car....rather than trying to color match that what's been done.
i think a well developed plan for "complete renovation" of your interior may be less expensive/return more of your investment/preserve more value than leaving your 964 in its present state.
................why not post up pics/ full details of the car.....and you may get some views/opinions as to what might be a very cost effective way to restore this 964.
