Default Is there a trick to seperate the AC lines?

I need to disconnect the high pressure AC line that is under the rocker panel. I put a wrench to both sides and and could not budge the nut (left side) at all. Given the nature of the aluminum lines I don't want to do this incorrectly and twist the tubing and make a mess out of what should be a simple job. So is there a trick to separate the lines. Does Porsche use some sort of thread sealant that could be keeping this together? I assume that I am trying to turn the correct nut?Any suggestions would be great.

There's no trick. Put on som 5-56/WD40 or something and try again the next day with good tools. Mine weren't difficult at all. It's just age and aluminium.

+1 on the lube. Also heat the nut to no hotter than the temperature that makes water sizzle (aluminum starts to anneal at around 100 °C). Heat it fast, and the thermal gradient will budge the threaded interface just enough to make it easier to start moving. You can also put a chill on the inner parts. Electronics supply houses sell a spray used to chill electronic components.

Sorry it was late last night when i wrote this and i was tired. Which is the nut that will move? I am assuming it is the one on the right. Is that correct?
Thank you

To be more specific, there are two nuts that make up the union. Do i turn the smaller or the larger one?

I don't remember but I'd guess it would be the smaller one. The connections are more or less the same for all the joints so do it the same way as you did with the rest.

Turn both until one starts to move. Then you can figure out which one spins to separate the union.
