Help - top won't go up!
Hi. 1990 C4 cab.
I drive and operate the convertible top almost daily with no problems. Put down the top this morning and now when I hit the button nothing happens - no movement or sound or anything. Where should I start? Rain is coming this week so it would be nice to get it up.

Just checked fuse 13. Blown. Just blew three more #13's. As soon as I put a new 30 in and press the button, it blows. What would cause that?
Also, another I noticed: when I turn the key for electrical power, the blower (under the rear deck) comes on, goes of for a sec, then comes on. This wasn't the case (I dont think) before the top problem: related?
So what do I check to keep my #13 fuse from blowing out?

So the top is back to working. Took it to the dealer. Apparently some wires in the top were being pinched and shorted. $550 (no parts cost, all labor, listed on invoice as "classic model, special labor rate". Hmm.)
