Hi Wolv,

I do not see any reason it would not work on a C4. The cat's are exactly the same and once you get back behind the rear wheels, C2 and C4 are the same. I would suggest one like the Dansk though as it has an internal muffler that may help a little with sound. Otherwise, price might be the factor.

As for the Dansk ones, muffler to reduce the sound? I don't really mind it loud to be honest and yea, it would cost around $200 or so more no?

I would say the Dansk type is more common in the US due to its appearance as a real cat. So I am not sure about a straight pipe. I am pretty sure the Dansk has an internal tube with holes that may help reduce the sound a little. I am not sure how significant it is. I had one on for a few months, but decided to go back to a regular cat.

Thanks for your help, am I right in saying this part is the same as what some refer to as the cup pipe?
The g-pipe replaces the box before the tail pipe and this de-cat /cup pipe thingy goes before that.
Also chopping the air box lid is it better buying the fabspeed fancy carbon lid thing.

Chopping the air box is $175 savings over carbon one. Though once done, there is only one way to go back - buy a used one. Actually I cut mine and looking to go back to the standard. But it is not high on my lists right now.

Not quite

De cat replaces the Cat which is before the primary silencer (sits under the nearside rear)

Cup pipe, replaces the primary silencer (runs across theback of the car)

G Pipe replaces the secondary silencer, (under the offside rear connected to the exit pipe)

Cant comment on the airbox as Ive never tried it, but lots of people just drill holes in the standard box

Will be slightly louder than one with baffles, but Ive got this style plus a G pipe and its perfectly acceptable

If you can wait til next Sunday you'll hear what mine sounds like with Cat bypass, standard primary and G-pipe. Too loud for track days though..

I recently put on a g-pipe and like the sound, am now concidering the cat bypass as well. Anyone know what happens in CA when you go to get smogged with this set up?
