OK guys, a simple answer: DO IT!
It's given a similar tone to just the g-pipe but with a lower, deeper undertone. At idle it's a bit louder but over 3k revs it's much louder and really gorgeous. With the induction kit as well it revs up much quicker too. Highly recommended.
However, don't buy that bypass in my link above - it was very poorly made and wouldn't fit properly so I had to upgrade to a much better one.
For anyone thinking about it it gets a big thumbs up from me
The only downside is that in-time I can see myself being tempted by a triple bypass, just for the hell of it.

The cat bypass and G-pipe is my fave combo, and i've tried them all !
The straight thru setup is big fun on occasion, but you couldn't live with it the whole time. Your neighbours will end up hating you.

As for putting it on the targa you'll most likely wonder why you didn't do it long ago once you hear it

Hi Steve. With two loud 911s on the street I'm definitely not flavour of the month...but what can you do?!
BTW, I met a mate of yours at Bedford a while back, driving an E46 compact? Said he'd met up with you the day you bought your 964? Nice guy.

That was Ian. He phoned me that morning from Bedford while you were waiting for the mist to lift to say you were there. He also met me few miles down the road from your place and bought me lunch on the day I picked up the 964 from you. Ian, myself and bunch of others are going to Rockingham on the middle Saturday in August. Let me know if you're interested?

I have yet to mod my 964's exhaust, but I'm really thinking about doing it next winter.
Question, do you guys who mod the exhaust also mod the intake?
It would seam nessarry to increase flow to do so, and if you do,
do you have to mod the ECU?
I really like the sounds of these cars, and would certainly like to get mine there as well!
