Are you reffering to the sticker price when the car was new when you say you'd never pay that? Asking price isn't listed- I'm sure asking is a well-deserved premium to the general market- car looks awesom, but is begging for the black plastic plugs in place of the front license plate screw holes....

I love the wide bodies, period. Yeah, stereo stuff not for all, but a little TLC is all it needs to "look" perfect, IMO. Functionally, what bothers me is the C4 part. Not a fan of the Quattro system in the 964.

My wife's cousin had a mint <30 mile areana red 993 cab that he sold, and is going to be looking for this exact car (964 widebody) when he finishes restoring his grandfather's '67 Austin Healy 3000. He really loves the wide body look with no whale tale which really pronounces the lines...I have to admit it does look pretty cool.
I agree with the turn off of dealers not posting asking prices, and the turn off with extensive stereo equipment. (I put a small amp mounted to a board and strapped to the fuel tank under the carpet so it doesn't show, and no drilling occurred- and used stock sized speakers so the car can essentially be turned back to stock, with the exception of the original speakers that were behind the grills which were disintegrated beyond repair).
Finally, I ALSO agree with tango- the only part I'd like changed is a C2.
Wow- great minds think alike!
