Default Monday exhaustion

So I moved my mom this weekend- 2x 250 miles round trip in a 16' moving truck. I'm tired of seeing boxes and packing tape. Now she has the fun of emptying boxes!

No Porsche this weekend- no time. What about you?

I sure as crap didn't move a parent like you!
"You're a better man than I am, Gunga Din!"

Gave out candy from the porch on a warm Halloween's night.
Drove car to retain sanity other times of the weekend. And I think I'm still sane.

got my heater servos all sorted and buttoned everything back up. Its starting to be nice top down driving even tho my top hasnt been up since early March. I even washed the car this weekend.
We went kayaking yesterday out on the small spring fed river that runs thru my property. Darn gators had a good breeding season this year the little monsters are everywhere!

Why didn’t anyone tell me Halloween is the sexiest holiday of the year?!?!?

There were plenty of parties and every woman seemed to go as Sponge Bath Nurse or Naughty Police officer. There were hundreds of them... No pics, sorry.

What a fun weekend! It rained mostly and I did not get to work on the car much, but it was restful.

last track day of the year at Putnam Park on Sunday. Beautiful day, started out frosty 32F, blue sky and 60F by afternoon. Great time on the track, total of almost 3 hrs of track time. Only about 4-5 Porsches on the track, two of them 964's. All kinds of other stuff. Still learning, picking up speed and smoothness. One pucker moment at the end of the day when a guy practicing for the Mustang Challenge bounced off the wall coming out of T10, right into my path, twice.. And, my buddy had to go home after only one session because his 996 started leaking coolant. (I told him this was God's way of telling him that 911's were never meant to be water cooled. Luckily he is a good friend...)
I am sore today - my left leg and butt cheek are sore. I did not take the time to install my Recaro PP seats and harness - can't believe how much I rely on them to hold me in place.
Can't wait til next year. It will soon be time to put on the winter tires.

Dudes, I am on the 6th straight day of over 102 fever. Haven't left the house in a week.

Get your flu shots fellas. That's all I can say.

difficult week here....near term we have to decide whether we move back to tokyo or not. economically return to asia makes most sense but no doubt will be sorry to let go of relaxed lifestyle.

in terms of this forum....if its a go on the move will likely try and sell america roadster this side - if price is right, rather than crate & ship and replace it in japan with 964 or 993 (they are priced about the same there - but generally better maintained and lower mileage).

cheers

It's easy to get comfy in vancouver, but if you go you will be missing that wonderful winter weather.
