FINALLY: Picked her up from the shop after a good 4 months almost of personalization and mini restoration: New top, new suspension/lowering , replaced most consumables, added the FD padkeeper, cleaned components, period correct head unit, added OEM Cup 1 wheels, new Michelin tires, got rid of all amber signals plus insane detailing etc. etc. Put the first 60 miles on her earlier today and it felt like bliss....

I attended the Porsche Sportscar Together Fest last weekend and it was great. Lots of special and beautiful Porsches plus some race spectating and 25 minutes of track time following a 992 GT3 around the Indy road course. One thing I noticed was during the entire weekend I saw only 1 other 964 Targa - which was on display in the Porsche Classic Pavilion as part of the Porsche Restoration Challenge. My 964 Targa got a fair amount of attention and 3 approaches about whether it was for sale. Mine is not but if anyone is interested - I have a number for a guy who says he's a buyer.

your targa has a story like no other, and the best response to ‘Mr. Buyer’ is the one you gave him. This variant is probably the most difficult to find. I speak from experience, happy motoring..
