Circling back on this, decided a 993 Targa was not for me after checking one out. I pulled my top of out storage and Krytox'd the roof seals heavily, and driving with the top on is surprisingly pleasant.

I still may be listing my car in the spring to move on to new pastures, but still debating it.

We believe only 21 94 targas vin should start at 061. Is the car 718 coded?

So as you may know or not 718 code means in your cars case it was a 93 MY build with the vin changed to 1994 R code. It is a US only thing and some of these might have been double counted. My info shows there are 21 for MY 94 and all should be C2's.

BTW the color is called Amazon green not blue. It is actually a green base. I have 2 Porsche's in this color. It was disliked years ago but loved today. Everyone says what a beautiful blue car and when I tell them green they look at my oddly.
