thanks, color porsche named it raspberry red (this car has matching leather interior)....took approx 2 wks of debating between my wife & i over this car vs. a guards red 993 widebody ....she won out and reluctantly must admit she is always right. since acquired have never looked back (and 964 widebody backside much nicer than 993 turbo look)

Old thread but all of you that provided such GREAT information on these cars I applaud you. Rennlist is refreshing compared to the other Bantor boards to have so many people with like interests and a plethera of knowledge wrapped up into an actual discussion that makes sense.

Also Rob (Cupcar #12) when Pj and Jim try to hook up to see your rig I wouldn't mind tagging along. I love all Porsches and just don't have the room to own all I want. One day maybe

Originally driven by Harald Grohs and Eric van der Velde in the European Carrera Cup Series, this race ready car was imported to the US where it has been successfully campaigned in the PCA Club Race series in Class GTC-1.




Good examples like this are very rare and increasingly more difficult to find. They are a wonderfully quick and safe track or race car and because of their pure Factory lineage and low production numbers, will always maintain their high intrinsic value, especially for any amateur or vintage race series. Never having sustained any structural damage the car is freshly painted and is very well equipped.



The engine is quite fresh with only 3 sprint races of use since it was last freshened (new 964 Cup pistons and cylinders, new 964 Cup heads along with a new wiring harness, sensors and throttle body) The recently rebuilt transmission has only been exposed to one race. The suspension is also all new and uses all original Factory Cup Car parts.




This wonderful example is offered with an extensive list of spares, 2 extra set of kineses wheels with Dunlop slicks,plus 1 extra front ahd rear rim with dunlpos. a NAV based data system, front and rear video cameras and all records, original Wagenpass and current PCA logbook for the very fair price of $60,000.Comes with spares listed
