Depends on if they are originals or replicas and their overall condition. About 2 years ago, I purchased a set of original 7 & 8 Cup 1's that were well used for $800 with tires. I spent another $600 to have them refinished (powder coated). Perfect sets were selling for $12-1400+. I would expect 8 & 9's would be worth more, if in perfect condition.

Are the turbo (965) fronts 7" or 7.5"? I didn't think that 8's fit up front in the narrow body cars. Thanks.

I think the Cup I's are almost as dear as the Cup II's - it's really an aesthetic thing (assuming originals of course) and having recently moved from II's to I's - I'm pretty happy - they look awesome and I think suit the car much better than the stock D90s'. Which, I DO have on the S2 and I think they look great in that application. But - to each his own.

I would expect (hope?) to sell my Cup I's for as much as Cup II's. But I might not get asking price! : )

8" Cup I's fit fine in the front with up to a 245 wide tire. On most early cars you would need to install steering stops and trim the bumper a little bit if you install 17" wheels.

I think the Cup I's are almost as dear as the Cup II's
Cup I > Cup II in dearness.

LOL - as in they're worth more?

(that's what I meant).

i have 4 (well) used Cup 1's with tires. in 7" only
OEM wheels of course.

if anyone is interested. I need to pair down my stash of cup 1's.

they should be repainted for a street car (no rash, mostly from track wear and tear)

i used them as rain wheels.

make me a decent offer ($175/each?!) and you pay shipping.

I can sell them with or with out the tires (they are old and i would not use them personally although they have plenty of tread.)

I'll shoot some pictures this week.

I have 2 7's in good condition also for sale. I know of a set of 7 &9's with dunlop tires in great shape of a low mileage turbo for $1400 might be able to get them cheaper if your interested. Although not me selling.

8&9's are IMO worth the most. I ended up buying 8's used needing paint for $400 shipped and the 7&9's cost me $900 with practically new RA-1's but the wheels needed paint badly.

You can repsray the wheels easily using Wurth silver and clear and a steady hand. Figure a can of paint each wheel to make them perfect and 1 can clear for 2 wheels. at about $15 a can.

Center caps are usually not included.
