Nearly totally stock. Leftover Euro RS (street car) Bilsteins and some springs of unknown manufacture. Track worthy brake pads and decent fluid. Some Cup 1 replicas and RA1's. Second oil cooler, and it sure seems like it has a lightweight flywheel.
140K miles, and I'll run it straight up against anything that's a sub-20K car.

I have the TRG front and rear bars. used the factory RS drop links. IMO the TRG front bar is too stiff and I need to run it at full soft withe the rear set at full stiff. They may work better with much stiffer springs but with the bilstein HD's and H&R reds, I think you are better off with a stiffer rear or softer front bar.

I drove the car bone stock for a couple of years. Stock suspension is pretty good after you get the worn out shocks replaced.
Primary by-pass was first mod, and that is easy and reversable. Just did PS delete/RS manual rack, and RS pulley mod. No driving impressions yet. Car is still on jack stands waiting for me to finish up.

Man, am I out numbered here.
But that is okay.
Mine is absolutely bone stock, factory everything, except the PO had an 8K paint job done. Original Amazon Green. Other than that, I did not put my undertray back on from my last valve adjustment.
Starting the mods thing is a slippery, slippery slope.....

Bumping an old thread...
After 7 months of ownership, mine is still bone stock. Including the cassette holder!
Do I get a prize?
(Disclaimer: Except that the undertray is off for summer, and one of the POs has placed a small "Ballistic" sticker on the rear window )
However, I am lusting after a set of Cup 1s. And lowering springs. And a primary bypass. And perhaps a chip.
It's kinda funny that the temptation to mod is almost a daily struggle with me. The main influences keeping me stock are 1) the bank account and 2) the Wife Approval Factor!
As time passes, I guess it'll become rarer to find the completely stock ones, they just seem so amenable to "personalisation"!

Mine is pretty stock and original including the rally car ride hight. I even still have the stock D90s although it fitted with 996 Cup wheels at the moment. Oh yeah did the cassette holder delete.
I do plan on Billstein HDs and H&R springs, maybe a rear bar, but otherwise I plan on keeping her pretty much stock. I have been debating on the H4s but been told that the H5s are plenty good enough. Maybe a mild brake upgrade with rotors and pads. I wont even do the LWF, and have a Luk replacement DMF for when the time comes.
I thought about getting all crazy with a 3.8 RS cams and Kompressor, but I don't think I want to do it to this car.

I suppose the question is, how do you enjoy the car as is? If the answer is "I love it", then leave it alone and enjoy.
These cars were not delivered to the Euro zone, like they were here. Porsche intended for these cars to sit lower and to be enjoyed closer to the edge. It took me 2 years to collect the parts I wanted to mod the car with and to undertake the work. It's an expensive process both in terms of time & $'s, more than you will budget for.
If you have a wife that looks over your shoulder and asks questions, do yourself a big favor and leave the car as is.

That is what keeps me stock. I have modfied cars before and by and large the modification have runied the car for anything but the track.
