Steering Arms - Cup?
Howde.
I have replaced the track rod ends, but it looks like the inner tie forks need replacing. I'd like ones without rubber, does anyone know if there is a cup version available, like the 993 Cup ones? with a pillowball joint???
I want to dispense with the rubber ideally...
Or do the 993 ones fit?

I got the 964 Cup ones through Gert...is his shop called Carnewal or something? ...in Belgium...quite pricey once the VAT/Import Tax but what the hell, it's only money, right?
IF the 993 ones allow for a better angle in a lowered 964 and they install in our cars without issue...DEFINITELY go with those would be my "two cents".

These are the GT2/Evo tie rods, with a monoball inner. They work best with RS/Evo uprights and a lowered ride height. I got mine from Steve Weiner @ Rennsport Systems. They only come as a complete set.

I didn't buy the cup-forks. The price is much higher than for the RS/C4 forks and they are still rubber. But I can tell you that it was a big difference between the old ones and the new. The old ones I could easily bend with my hands, and the new ones with fresh rubber was almost impossible to bend. So just buying the RS forks could be a good upgrade compared to your old C2 forks.

The EVO tie rods work with the EVO uprights, not the stock uprights. They do help manage bump-steer on a car that has been significantly lowered - it's why I made the switch on mine. They are/were a huge help. On my car, I do not believe that they were a bolt on replacement. I believe Jerry Woods fabricated some adjustable, monoball only tie rods for me. The custom job might have been because I'm running big red calipers with 16" wheels and caliper clearance was a critical issue. I'll look for pictures tonight.
