Just curious...what price is Wheel Enhancement selling the replicas for, and are the replicas Cups still made, or are they just selling out inventory?
I had purchasing a set from Tire Rack on my "list" for this year...

Tire Rack doesn´t sell them anymore - I managed to buy the 2 rears last year but shortly after that they decided to not sell them any more.![crying](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bigcry.gif)
Now I´m stuck with 2 rear Replicas and 2 OEM front but they are so similar that no one can spot which the real OEM´s are.
Nevertheless I wanted to have 2 sets and now I don´t know where to buy them because wheel enhancement won´t sell them to me (maybe because I am far away)

I lucked out and got a pair of 9's OEM from Wheel Enhancement for a killer deal. I was after a set of used ones they had and they got sold out from under me I guess they felt sorry for me. Those guys are really great I would recommend them any time.
I think the OEM 9s are like $600+ new each.
IMHO it is pretty easy to spot the Reps due to the harder corners...![ooops](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/icon501.gif)
They do have one advantage of offering them in 7.5" though...

There is a small website whose co-owner has his panties in a twist about the cup wheel nomenclature-here is his post where he vows to edit anyone using Cup 1 or 2 terminology-he lated added that anyone using those terms would get in trouble with the moderators!
'contrary to an all too popular misconception, there is no such thing as "Cup 1" and "Cup 2" wheels - this has been a constant source of confusion when trying to talk to someone about these wheels
for the record, the wheels that come on this car in 17" form are "C2 Turbo" on the early cars and "993 Cup" which became available on the later cars (the C2 Turbo continued to be available)
there are multiple widths and offsets for both models
the misnomer came about from a car that was never sold to the US - the 911 cup car, a european model, came with the C2 Turbo wheels - however, the Turbo with those wheels was not out yet - also, what you could call the true "Cup" wheels were MAGNESIUM - anyway, the wheels got dubbed "Cup" over there by the enthusiasts who didn't know any better at the time, becaue they "looked" like the ones on the Cup car (but not by Porsche) - then when the 993 Cup wheel came out, those same enthusiasts perpetuated the misnomer and called that one "Cup 2"
but we will use the correct designations here - consequently you will see your posts get edited if you use the incorrect designation - please try to use the correct one though, we have a lot better things to do than continue to edit things like this
i hope this clears that up'

Thanks for the pic ilko. Me likey.
I was wondering why wheel enhancement called the "cup 1s" the C2 Turbos. Now I get it. I think i'll still call them cup 1's though...
