Here is a photo of a tanker that was caught in a rift and lodged on a sand bar of the coast of new castle,New South Wales(Australia) they used to build ships in new castle

Not funny - we're off the cost of Guatemala today. At least the ship is going the right direction now.

Wow, at first I though you posted two different pictures (one of the ship, the one of the town below it) then I realized, holy crap! That barge dwarfs the little town below it, and is a little too close to some of those buildings for comfort if I lived there!

I thought the perspective looked off but the lighting is perfect. Look at the shadows on the roofs in the foreground and cast by the ship. Its for real:

A panamax sized oops !
The ships master was having breakfast .
225 meters / 738 feet
32.2 meter / 105.6 feet
57ish meters / 190ish feet from the water line up .
Has been refloated , repaired , painted a new color , given a new funnel and renamed .
If you come across a black panamax by the name of The Drake , thats her .
