Wow, at first I though you posted two different pictures (one of the ship, the one of the town below it) then I realized, holy crap! That barge dwarfs the little town below it, and is a little too close to some of those buildings for comfort if I lived there!
I thought the perspective looked off but the lighting is perfect. Look at the shadows on the roofs in the foreground and cast by the ship. Its for real:
