A few questions on exhaust changes...
Some of you know that I want to go with a dual exhaust setup... so I have now the side bumper factory part with the exhaust cut out to replace the unit currently there.
Question is, should I do a complete exhaust system with headers and eliminate the heaters? Along with the heater blower that is in the engine bay? Any impact to the A/C system if I do that?
Or should I leave the stock headers alone and just do the dual exhaust?
Lastly, anyone with a similar setup (headers without heat but still A/C working) that can show me a few photos?

Found one photo in the Fabspeed site...
Would be nice to see an engine bay photo with A/C but without the heater blower...

What are you trying to achieve? If more power, get rid of the heat exchangers, they are inefficient. If it's for looks and sound, I would keep them. Do you ever use the heater in your car?
Here's some photos of my set up (no heat, no A/C, hollow muffler, pretty much straight pipes):

Ilko, combination of looks, loose a bit of weight in the process if possible, and sound.

You'll definitely lose weight by removing the heat exchangers, but your comfort may suffer as well. My advice is to go with the "1 in, 2 out" muffler. Also, whichever decision you make, be sure you are OK with the noise level. I have to wear earplugs in my car if I have the windows down, because it is LOUD

For street only, you may want to consider the Fabspeed dual outlet cat back exhaust. I have the single outlet on my car and it looks good and is plenty loud enough for me. Saves a fair amount of weight, not sure about power gains.

For the narrow body cars your best bet is to order one from FVD. When I called Sunset Imports I checked availability for narrow and wide body cars... Chet is also looking to buy one. FVD has it for US$261.00

thats a good price. I looked last year and it was over $400 at a couple other places. I dont really want louder then my gpipe is now if possible.

The Fabspeed single in / dual out muffler is loud and it resonates at cruise RPM. The Fabspeed headers with heat and two in / two out muffler sounds awesome. It sounds like a mechanically injected 3.0l car but is not nearly as loud as the single in / dual out.
Headers can make a performance improvement, but there is a large difference between the headers. Some will lose power and some will gain power depending on the engine configuration.

Geoffery, my single in and dual out FabSpeed doesn't resonate but it is pretty loud so I am not sure there is a difference in the two? With the windows up though the sound is great IMHO and you can talk on the phone. With the windows down the sound is even better!

Either one of the setups that I am considering will come from Fabspeed. I will either go with their catback dual tip option or the full header 2into2 system. Not looking elsewhere for an exhaust.
The feedback I am looking for is if it is better to go no-heat (and also remove the heater fan in the engine bay) vs heat.
I lived through the 996TT without mufflers and with hi-flow 100cell cats... I doubt either of the setups that I want for the 964 will be louder than that...
Also, my current setup is a fabspeed cat bypass, stock primary, G-Pipe (deleted secondary), stock exhaust tip. Oh! and holes in the intake cover...

Jaime, I would keep the heat on a street car. You know it can get all the way down to 50 or even lower in Orlando...and the locals think that is cold!
But seriously I do like the ability to set a temperature for the cabin and forget about it in the winter.
