Default New owner saying hello.

I'm making the final arrangements to ship a lovely 1993 964 RSA from MD to CA. I can't wait to drive it. It took me a very long time to find the "right" car for me, and I think this one is it!

Very nice car. I know the car from when I purchased my '93 RSA in June. It will be a nice addition for the Garlic Festival!

Thanks for the warm welcome! This is my first sight unseen purchase. The PO has been very forthcoming and has provided me with enough references to make me comfortable with the purchase.

Mooty is an expert regarding cars of fancy.

I'll enjoy this car around the Monterey area and throw in an occasional track day to exercise it.

I'll post more pictures when the car arrives. I'm crossing my fingers that the transport goes off uneventfully. I am using DeMoise Trucking.

They're the best and final iteration of the 911. Excited for you.

Is so, were you made aware of this?

FWIW, that motors had a serious money-shift/overrev too.

The car heading to CA is not the car that is offered by SSI. There are no worries with respect to the car that was purchased from Rob.

As can easily be seen by comparing the pictures of each car.

I appreciate the concern shown on this board. It really says allot about the quality of the people here. My car is a nonsunroof, 93 RSA. It has some tastefull modifications as outlined below (copied from the original Pelican Parts add):

Interior:
Recarro RS Tri- color seats Black, grey, dark grey.
Recarro sliders
Sabelt harness
DAS RS roll bar Power coated red
Carrera RS Rear carpet

Suspension:
I obtained the factory NOS RS Billstein coil over suspension from one of the Carrera cup cars, from the canceled Carrera Cup USA. These were cup cars imported, then converted to street cars when the series was canceled. Parts alone $5,000.
Front and rear RS sway bars

Brakes:
Front RS two-piece rotors with Aluminum hats
Rear RS drilled rotors
Backing plates removed
Brake proportioning valve removed
Carbon fiber brake ducts
