akkaporn - I looked into doing something similar to this when I was looking at project cars a year ago. The hardest thing to find for the Speedster replicas is the roof as this is not available from Porsche anymore.

Almost everything else needed is available from Porsche as an OEM part, or replicas from the various aftermarket vendors.

Good luck!

Hi roadsleeper,

do you have contact details of those various aftermarket vendors, please?
I sure had a good, hard look and couldn't come up with much......

Best regards

IIRC Los Angeles Porsche Dismantlers had a speedster windshield and frame for sale perhaps they had the complete top and toneau as well.
You might try giving them a call to see if they still have the parts.
Also since I believe you are not in the US, some here have said that they have had quality issues when dealing long distance with LA Porsche Dismantlers.

Speaking of quality issues here are a couple of "Speedster" recreations from eBay that may lead to ????

Obersturm - To be honest, there are a whole bunch of them out there that are very good to work with. I have personally dealt with FVD as well as directly with Porsche for certain parts, and there are companies out there with very good reputations, but unfortunately I don't have list compiled.

If you have a donor C2 Cabby in decent shape, the hardest parts to find will be the top and the windshield / frame. Almost everything else can be readily sourced either brand new, or through dismantlers / refurbishers.

One thing you may want to look for is a company that specializes in recreating replica Speedsters (i.e., you pay a lump sum for what basically amounts to an as-new Speedster).

Either way, expect to spend some serious coin... My project 964 track car is killing me!
