Question.
So my dad is out of town and told me a can take his 92 964 c2 out for watching his house. Pics to come. It has a targa, 90k miles and in great conditon. The car has reciepts for a top end rebuild last year. He put some new shock and skinny 19" 5 spoke porsche wheels. Now he told me this car doesnt have much get up. Boy was he right. I think something has got to be wrong. It purrs like a kitten but doesnt want to rev above 4000 worth a darn. You can floor it in second and it is barely acellerating. The primary was also just replaced with a stock unit. Now I drive a volvo so I wasnt expecting much. On the interstate I floored it in forth and it took almost 10 seconds from 65 to 75.
Im thinking it the acellarator pedal is not opening all the way up. It has a short travel. Or something on the engine side or the acellerator wire. I figure the enigne would come alive around 4k rpms but it doesnt like to doesnt like to get there at all. Also can your store the targa top in the front trunk? Thansk for any ideas.

Three Wheelin'
Hehe, I think Indy knew that. I believe that's the line the guy at the Porsche dealer said in the movie after the car was pulled out of Lake Michigan.
