Brake Fluid Bleeder

Brake Fluid Bleeder
Hey guys. I know most people recommend the Motive bleeder but because of time restraints I was wondering if this would work?

Does this work like the motive system where you pressurize the reservoir? Doesn't seem like it.

I had tried so many other options... the Motive bleeder is the best method to do this... that is, unless you pay someone else to do it, hehehee

The product description isn't real clear on how it works but it appears to be a vacuum system that pulls the fluid out at the calipers rather than how the Motiv system pushes from the reservoir. I would favor the push method.
For what its worth, I have a Motiv system and love it. (No affiliation).

Did you get a hold of Apex Performance? They are a rennlist sponser, usually have the motive in stock, and should be able to get it to you very quickly. No affiliation, just have had very good dealings with them in the past.

What do you need it tomorrow for? If it's a race or DE, someone at the track will have one. I bled my brakes w/the Motive bleeder this past weekend. Took all of 30 minutes, maybe less.

Naptown... [finally figuring what that whole garden hose connection was about!]
That rig isn't likely to help you.
I think a garden hose hooks up to it... the lever opens up the flow of water... water squirting through that top tube causes a (partial vacuum) venturi effect on the reservoir-plastic tank, below. (a sort-of clever manner of household vacuum creation, I guess...)
And somehow this rig applies this created 'supply' of vacuum onto the caliper bleed screws, per the usual vaccuum brake bleeder.
Personally, I've Never had luck with all the times I've stupidly tried (&tried, &tried, & Tried...) to make one of these vacuum bleeder do-hickeys work.
My put/opinion: as a manner of last resort, pedal pumping will be superior to this vacuum (I think) device. (And I HATE pedal pumping. But I know it works... eventually. [chuckle])
edit-
ahhh.... that whole "pumping" reference, above.... [collar tug] ah, was bone-headed when applied to clutch-bleeds, and C4 brake bleeds.
