The stock fuel injectors begin to become non linear above 80% duty cycle. It is my experience that at approximately 300hp they are not large enough to supply the required fuel to maintain a .89 lambda value at full throttle and max stock RPM. Switching to larger injectors in and of itself will not give you more power, however, if you are exceeding the performance of the stock injector, or are using a new technology injector with better atomization, you will see a performance improvement.

I am happy with mine, and I don't even have it tuned yet! ;-)

I would not simply throw in larger injectors without proper software to match. You may have a proper air/fuel up top but idle ,low and mid range will suffer therefore torque being degraded causing horsepower to suffer along with it.

Congratulations Marco! Your car must be lots of fun to drive. Your car is running good, your HP numbers are in line with what we have experienced with other well sorted 964s. Post your dyno if you get a chance.

Rather than changing the injectors, has anyone tried to increase the capacity of the stock injectors using a higher fuel pressure regulator?
