I agree my big reds dry weigh the same. The GTS rotor and 94 965 rotor are interchangeable. I have both cars and have swapped them without issues.

Also, the width of the rotor face is shorter on the 964 Turbo rotor (except 94) so a Big red won't work on the rotor due to the additional pad width.

Does anyone know if there is a vendor out there making the 322x32 928GTS rotors in a slotted configuration??

I have not seen one although someone had posted someplace they had sourced some from England IIRC.

Paul from Protosport said he has access to them when we spoke about my brakes last time but I am not ready for new rotors yet so I never followed through. You might try calling him 973-839-5353.

Let me know what you find out.

Try here. Although I don't know if 332 x 32 will work

I was also just given this sight for aluminum hats which I was told are made fro the 965 offset.

AP Racing has a 332x32 slotted 2 piece rotor. I run them on my car and it requires only a 10mm spacer and 10mm longer bolts. They last a long time. Although my car is light, I got 1.5 seasons out of the first set which was used when I bought them.

Geoffrey,

Could I use this setup with 17's? I run cup I's for AX and street use and 18's for track. Bad enough messing with spacers don't need to swap rotors based on use too.

Not Geoffrey, but, I run the Big reds w/ Kinessis 17s lots of room radially another 10mm won't cause any problems, if you are going to run into trouble the back of the spokes is where you will run into it.

Quick update: I decided to keep the 993TT rotors and get custom adapters from VCI. As you can see, the lateral bolt holes are pushed outward by 5mm, compared to the previous adapters I had. This way the brake caliper will (or should!) align with the 993TT rotor. I will try to post pics of the install tomorrow or on Sunday...

Super, he should advertize those more heavily. I'm sure that there are a lot of folks running 322s not limited by class rules to the 1 piece units.

Are the bolts in the 993 turbo rotors stainless?
