Reading through all the threads, I found out that GTS rotors would fit and they're not cross drilled (a plus for track guys) but damn, they are almost 300$ a piece. If someone has a better price for plain rotors or even sloted, that would be great.

Sorry Bill, didn't mean to sound like a *****. I know you are right about the benefits of GT2 uprights but for now, I would like to find a less expensive (not to say cheap) alternative to better, longer lasting brake rotors.

Thanks

So Indy, these are the correct hats? 3.02" offset is 7.67mm so it's a bit on the taller side. Or am I measuring it incorrectly?

Thanks for your help guys!

No problem Ilko, wouldn't want to end up with hats that make the rotors rub against the shocks

I was not picking one out . I have no idea of the size needed . I was just hinting that hats could be had .

Also , have you looked at spacers in between the hats and rotors ?

Default 965 rotors

Hi,

Good timing on your posting.

I just picked up a pair of the 965 rotors at Sunset Porsche in Portland...this morning. PN# 965-351-045/6 at $191.00 ea. This is for a big black upgrade. VCI recommended this rotor. Very impressive in size & venting design compared to the stock 964 brakes, but man are they heavy!

Funny Ron! Actually that dog looked a lot bigger just a couple of days ago. Then he got a hair cut and now he looks like he shrunk in half

Default Weight

20.6 lbs on the scale. Sounds like the same weight. I'll weigh the stock 964 rotors for comparison once I remove them. The black calipers are huge too, but don't seem to be as heavy as I'd expected at 4.6 lbs each.

993 rear, wet

993 front 304x32
