Can anyone recomend a shop in SoCal to refinish a set of rims? I would really like to avoid shipping them.
Thanks!

I would prefer to bring them to a shop to have them done professionally. I am sure the DIY project would not be that difficult, but I would like to start with a professionally refinished set and then maybe try DIY projects to keep them looking good.
The rims were packaged poorly when shipped to me and nothing was placed between the face of the rim and the cardboard box. The cardboard was so abrasive that it rubbed down to metal in some places.

where are you exactly? I am in Newbury Park, and have a relationship with a shop that I use to tune-up 3 piece wheels and if I am too busy I some times let them refinish for me. I just dropped off a set of MB 15" bundt wheels to be restored/straightened and put back into serviceable condition. Jim

Wheel Enhancements came very highly recomended and they do do great work. Their work, however, comes at a huge premium. I took the wheels down to Al Reed in Anaheim, the difference between AR and WE was close to $210 a CORNER. Haven't gotten the wheels back yet....but we'll see!
