To be honest its my dads 964.
Disconnecting the fuel filter sounds like a great idea.
Now I gotta get a rubber tube.

It does not matter who owns it , to me , I just wanna know what car we are talking about .

I'd go for the starter fluid first , cheap , easy , no tools , no real danger , test .
A couple of squirts of starter fluid in the air cleaner intake while cranking the motor , does it run ?
What could be more easy than that ?

And , how you doing recovery wise ?

What would that test prove, if it starts or not?
And the recovery is going well.

If it starts on the fluid , you know you have a fuel problem .
If it starts on the fluid , you know everything else is ok but the fuel .

Its a good easy little test .
And cheap ,
for what a can of starter fluid costs ,
you can test many cars
or test one car many many times .
