Greetings from a newbee......
Hi all.
Excited about picking up a '92 C2 on Sunday
Needs discs and pads, so I have ordered Type 911's Sebro/texar kit.
Are there any easy to follow instructions anywhere to fit the kit (4 pot rears).
If my driveway allows, then a set of Bilsteins HD (Sport are the same difference right??) and H&R sport springs will go on.
Is this better performed by the local specialist (GT-One) to get the geo done at the same time?
Again, nice to be here. See you around

Welcome to the forum and make sure you show us what the car looks like!
Brakes & suspension together is easier. You can do both by yourself, there are a lot of topics covering the installation. You will need an alignment after installing the suspension so the car will have to visit the shop at some point. Keep us posted on your progress

Glad to see made it over here Lucky P.
You can post pics now that you've done more than one post
If you look on the main board you'll find a DIY section at the bottom. The 964 section in there is pretty big.

Here's a DIY link for the brake pads and rotors that many of us use:
http://p-car.com/diy/brakepads/
Note that many of the P-car.com DIYs are for 993s but they apply to the 964. Because after all a 993 is not much more than a later 964 but girly looking
And if you click on the link to Kevin's site in the post above you'll find a very nice write up on suspension upgrade. IIRC it refers to H+R greens and Bilstein sports but of course will also apply to reds.

Thanks all. Great nuggets to get stuck into. Will have a crack at the suspension (driveway allowing) and then get a shop to check the geo.

You don't hang about Pete. That must be some sort of record - talking about it to having one on the drive in under a week. Looks good but as last Sunday showed, when you see one with standard suspension next to an RS, the standard one sits way too high.
