I sprayed my hubs black with Halfords high temp paint but there's no necessity to do so as the primer seems to last. They just look better painted black IMO.

Beautifully original car. And hell, that Ultima GTR must be one fun machine... drove one... on my X Box...

So the Springs and shocks have arrived.
I thought the H&R springs would be red - but they are green p/n 29313-1
What are these then? The softer version? Will this be OK for mainly road and occasional track??
The Billy shocks are silver and blue and are:
VE35277, VE35278 and B461547 x 2 are these right?

Looks good - the rear shocks are the right ones for post-'91, I don't know what the difference is between H+R greens and reds. 'Meek', in message #9 of this thread sounds like he's fitted the same to his car.

Noticed a rather crunchy front LHS wheel bearing. Ordered a new one from Type911.
Any of those really good Rennlist articles on how to go about the replacement?
Sean Edwards is taking Lou for her first track day at Snetterton on Thursday, and I don't want the wheel falling off on the way round!!

The reds are quite a bit stiffer than the greens, which are of course stiffer than stock. Most people seem to think the greens are the best tradeoff for comfort and the occasional DE.

Three Wheelin'
I just bought a set of Bilsteins from Pelican and my rears came with the height adjuster and a new top nut. Admittedly, mine are the pre-91 variety so that may explain the difference. I'd be inclined to ask the supplier if you're not sure.
Car looks great BTW. Just goes to show that you CAN find what you want if you are prepared to look long enough!!! Hope Lou's pleased with it.
Regards
Dave
