Default pretty cool Caliper reconditioning

Have you guys seen calipers like the red ones at the bottom of this page???? Looks like these guys do a pretty good job and not bad for 3xx.00 dollars.

Those RED ones are sweet. I guess I know where my calipers are going this winter.

Yes that red gloss is INSANE! That is possibly the best looking caliper I have ever seen.

I've paid $300USD to have two front calipers powder coated and I've painted them myself. I will never pay $300 again. The only difficult part is removing the spring plates, replacing the dust boots and pressure seals is trivial (which is something they won't do anyway -- they just mask them). If you like the pseudo-chrome finish you can buy it from Alsa but I'm not sure how well it will hold up to the temperatures your calipers will see if you actually drive your car. VHT makes a 900F caliper paint and clear coat that is just as glossy.
